Isn’t it an older sister’s job to embarrass her younger brother? Well, a certain idol likes to show her little bro off. 2NE1’s Sandara Park uploaded a picture of someone other than herself or her fellow group members on her me2day. It was a photo of her brother MBLAQ’s Thunder. This picture was all the more special because it was a picture of the idol as a baby. Sandara Park wrote a caption that read, “I found this while looking for old pictures ke When I was 10, I went to the zoo on Children’s Day. But who is that little kid? keke Now, he’s taller than his older sister … I can’t believe those days ke He grew a lot. ke” Later on, Sandara posted a second photo of Thunder, adding the caption, “Another picture has been found! I love this picture. On New Year’s Day, he got new clothes and we went out. We put him on a tree and insisted on taking a picture. He couldn’t balance so I held on to him! Last September,  2NE1 ’s Dara and Lee Minho dropped a surprisingly alluring  music drama for Cass Beer that received a hot reaction  and even gave birth to a whole new group of “MinDara” fans that shipped this pairing. Unfortunately, Cass only followed up with a brief epilogue video … but MBLAQ is bringing the love story back with a parody! On the preview for episode 10 of MBLAQ’s Idol Army , the five-member group shown filming a few iconic scenes from the drama, including Minho’s trick kiss and Dara subsequently owning him with a slap. Dara is (fittingly) portrayed by her little brother Thunder , and Minho is played by heartthrob Lee Joon . And here’s the original for comparison: With Dara & Thunder’s striking similarities and Lee Joon’s Goo-Joon-Pyo-like hairstyle, this will definitely be a parody to look out for. MBLAQ made their debut last year and has made quite a big name for themselves. Although they haven’t been actively promoting their music on the k-pop scene, they’ve been recently appearing in various magazines as they pose and flaunt their hot bodies. Recently,  Thunder showed off a very unique fashionista side of himself for Elle Girl magazine. He donned on a unique set of clothing, revealing a chic image for viewers. Check out the photos for yourself!  

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, Thunder and Mir , turned into farm boys for KBS2’s “Invincible Youth” Winter Break Special . On January 22nd, the boys, along with their families and fans, took a vacation to visit Mir’s rural hometown in Jeonnam Jangseong. Through this vacation, Mir finally fulfilled his long time wish of “taking a break even if it is only for a day.” For those of you who don’t know, Mir is known among fans as a “farm-dol” due to growing up in the countryside. Up until high school, Mir helped his parents with the farm work and was apparently the heir to Yeong Nong Ranch. Anyway, on the episode, to help shovel snow in front of houses, the boys switched from their stylish clothes into something called ‘mombbae’ pants, a type of trouser known to be baggy and loose. While Mir comfortably shoveled snow, Lee Joon and Thunder struggled. Afterwards, the boys had a fun time sledding with fertilizer sacks. Finally, the boys of MBLAQ are on Star Golden Bell ! That is the one show you get to frequently see rookies on and I was getting impatient waiting for MBLAQ to appear. On today's episode, Mir talked about his sister and him. Comedian Kim Tae Hyun said, "MBLAQ's Mir and Thunder have such cool names. What are their real names though?" To this Thunder replied, "Mine is a common one, Park Sang Hyun ." Then Mir cracked everyone up by revealing his real name, "My real name is Bang Chul Yong ." Just looking at the spelling of it makes me laugh. Though he looked embarrassed when he said this he quickly recovered by dragging his sister down with him. When Jun Hyun Moo said, "Thunder is Sandara Park's brother and Mir is Go Eun Ah's brother." Then Mir said, "My sister's name is nice. It's Bang Hyo Jin ." What a cute celebrity Bang family!
